Tulips are blooming ....

Tulips are blooming in Holland-Michigan...Tulips bright colored and gay.....funny how some songs you learned eons ago still float thru the mind when least expected. I remember learning this song for a concert when I was somewhere in elementary school....those are the only two lines that I remember but I could blast them out if I needed to even today...heck and with the internet could probably find the rest of the lyrics....oh but I am not into wasting time like that :)
Altho I no longer even live in Michigan I still love tulips. I had bought these a couple of days ago and they adorn my dining table. Today I noticed that one was acting very un-tulipish and got the camera out to document it looking more like some other type of flower...well I am noexpert on flora and fauna but these are not supposed to open like this :)

Picture Day

It was such a pretty day today and the pups were having fun playing outside that I thot I would go and get my camera...and wouldn't you know that they stopped playing cutely where they were and decided to be on the move and hard to take a quick pic of...I need that camera attached to my hip so when I go outside...which is often at this point....that I can snap a few cuties...........oh well...good thing these are pics of my kids cuz I would get the complaint that "You took more pictures of her than me" :( But they are dogs so they won't complain at the unfairness of how many
First up is Miss no name...still no name that is sticking with her...she has such a serious look to her...she reminds me of a cartoon mouse....not sure why but that is what her face reminds me of right now....

And then there is Cassidy....she is the one for sure that her feet never stop moving unless she is in her crate....she so lives up to her name...Hopalong Cassidy

Whoa Nellie

Amazing how fast these guys grow up...this is the one I call Nellie...Whoa Nellie that is for sure...the two of these buff girls that I got are really full of energy.....always on the go unless I crate them for some down time :)
Nellie figured out how to climb up on this chair and was sitting there posing so got the camera out and snap snap here are a couple of pics :)

Excuses???

I some times find myself at the end of a day and look back and realize that it seems like I haven't done anything or gotten anything accomplished. Yet I have feel like I have been busy doing something all day long. Every once in a while there is a reason why that doesn't seem to be a far off statement..but most of the time it is just excuses :)
This is one of the times when it is genuine and not a total excuse. These two energizer puppies love to get into mischief. I totally think that should be their middle names...I do call them Thing one and Thing two a lot of the time ;) They look a lot alike from some angles...I can tell them apart if they are facing me of if they are standing together...but from afar off or watching them do their business (preferably outside) it is sometimes a bit harder to make sure that both of them have accomplished what they are supposed to be doing....I tried collars but they quickly got lost in their fur...so one has a bandana and the other has a larger collar with a tag to help in the identification process.
All that said..they are really fun to watch..altho I did get a little bit peeved at them when I found my newly planted tulip bulbs that are growing nicely to be totally gone from the pot that I had put them in...hum...no wonder the poo is a bit soft....
Trying to mop the water they spilled from the water bowl...they step in it and then track it everywhere :)

Buffers

Ok you whiners...here are pictures of the new ones...still not sure if I am keeping them or not..they are so darn cute but 3 puppies at one time is a lot of work!!!! Right now they are in their crate whining to get out but it has only been an hour and want them to be in there at least an hour and half :) Why can't they be like kittens who come already trained but stay with their puppy behavior???
Here are some pictures of the new buff ones I just got yesterday. They look so much alike that I had to mark them so when they were separate I could tell which one was which....together you can tell them apart but when they are flying thru the air it is much different :)

I have named this one for right now Cassidy...she loves to hop sideways and frontways and backways :)

This ones name is Bianca from the breeder but that will get changed when I find something that fits her...Houdini would work. I put them in the pen last night and went to the garage...when I came back she was crouched on a dining room chair cuz she had just climbed out of the pen :)

Well here she is with her hair cut around her eyes....isn't she cute? I am thinking on the name Ellie for her..short for Cinder-Ellie...not sure yet...

Clothes and schtuff

Sometimes I have to laugh at my kids...well chuckle at least. One daughter asked if I would make some American Girl doll clothes for her kid's school silent auction. I said sure and then she told me the time frame...which wasn't long....but being the good mom that I am got it done. She took them to the school and told me thanks....the funny comment altho can't remember exact words from me but from her I do..she said I didn't even have to ask again...you agreed the first time I asked............HA! Told her I needed to keep her off balance so she never knew what to expect...altho I think she knew I would do it even if she had to ask more than once....she didn't even have to guilt me into it :) Boy, do kids get the wrong idea about their parents...that is why they have kids of their own so that they can see what it is really like to be a parent........ :)

Cody went from shaggy to trimmed and man does he look a lot slimmer :) You can see his eyes again which tend to get hidden very quickly from the hair on his face. He is just a bit over 7 months now and will be able to be a dad when my next girl goes into season...won't he be a good looking daddy :)

I went to Colorado for the weekend..it was a fun trip...it started with meeting my friend Lorna for dinner....we had so much fun just talking and catching up...what a way to start a mini vacation
