Happy Daze

Some days are just more special than others. One of those days is when you see your grandkids making a profession of faith. How special is that to be a part of that day.....and to see your son in law being the one to lead your grandson into the waters of baptism and profession of his faith :)

This is my son in law, Jason

This is my grandson, Cameron

Man do they look a lot a like. I remember when I was at the hospital when Cameron was born and the doctor looked at the baby newly born and said....can't deny who the father of this boy is :) Not only do these two alike they act alike....so sweet to see :)

Cameron the show off :) He is so funny to watch his personality coming thru....this boy doesn't have the shyness of his grandmother at all!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Time flying by

Where has the week gone and where have I been in the process of it flying? I can't believe it is a week since I have added anything to this blogo of mine....if I look back on the week it doesn't seem like I have done that much to not remember anything significant...but then???? Hum...maybe old-timers is setting in much quicker than I would like it too....

Here is the litter of red puppies that I had two weeks ago. The family who has the mom came to visit with her kids and they had lined up the puppies out of the pen on the floor so I thot would be a good thing to take their picture with them lined up like little soldiers :) Liking the coats I am seeing on these guys

Lucy decided to put a flower pot in her mouth and run around the house...all the pictures I took of her face turned out blurry (cuz she wouldn't stay still) so I have to settle for this one with seeing her from the side....what a funny puppy :)

This little guy is now named Charlie. He is the product of mixing cockapoos that are first gens together...sometimes you get this more cockery look and the people who are getting him are so excited to meet him and love his look. He is a sweet dog that is for sure....one of the girls who came over was holding him and I got this picture of him :) so cute!!

cookie stop :)

Went on a 11 mile bike ride today...stopping at the local grocery store we bought sandwiches to eat on the trail....included in the deal was a rather large cookie with each sandwich...the girls were tired so we pulled over and halved the cookie between them...

Torrey's face is filled with cookie here...

and Emma's is filled here.....

apparently if there is a big cookie to eat then you must try and stuff as much of it in your mouth at once and then try and chew.........

and just a fun picture of torrey with her canned smile :)

UFO's????

what do they call those things in the fields where the aliens come down and make big circles in the farm lands? hum.....i found these in my carpet...wonder if the aliens came and did them??? :)

they are everywhere on the carpet....

oh never mind...here is the culprit....my spotbot made them :) I love this thing for cleaning up quick spills or pee spots that my lovelies sometimes want to leave on the carpet...the pups had gotten into my room and left me a few spots so out came the spotbot ;)

The pups are seven weeks old now...most have gotten picked up except for these three..two are sold and one is still for sale....they had fun exploring the table while i got pictures of them :)

poor baby...I woke them up from a nap to get pics that I had promised some new parents and he just wanted to keep on sleeping thru it all...

this is my granddaughter's favorite puppy...she is the one that always gets picked up first when she comes over...love her BIG eyes..just like her mama

Katie my new mom

Katie is a good mom....this will be her last litter...or should i say only litter as the people who have her don't want to go thru this again......they miss her terribly while she is with me raising her babies and don't want her to leave again............ :)

love the positions they get into to nurse..this guy was kicking his feet while he was laying on his back getting a bit of nourishment from his mommy

two sacked out right by mom but not knowing she was in there providing a meal for the others :)

Score

Sometimes in everyday talk with someone they remember what you say and come back a couple of weeks later with something you talked about but you didn't remember saying anything to them :) Such is the case of this spaghetti squash. Apparently I said something about liking it and viola...they showed up with two plants for me to plant in my garden...(that I have to make :)

Cement leaves :)

One of the perks of having puppies and finding good homes for them is that sometimes along the way people bring you "gifts". A nice family from Canada came and got their puppy and brought along these cement leaves....she had a name for them and darn if I can remember what it was. They haven't found their final resting place yet but wanted to get a picture of them for my pic of the day....

details of one up close

Paulette...if you read this let me know the name of the technique that you told me for these :)

Last of the peonies

Well spring has finally sprung and so have the flowers...this is last of the peonies that bloom here :)

Katie

This is my mom about to give birth here really soon. Can't wait to see the colors she produces with Riley who is also a red

Daisy, daisy give me you answer do

was watering and saw the droplets on the petals and thot...now there is a picture :)

Centennial Trail

Wow the things you can learn from talking to people you know :) We just got these new bikes and needed a place to ride them....fairly flat and easy and enjoyable....was talking to a friend and she mentioned this Centennial trail that goes from Arlington to Snohomish...for you Washingtonians that is a 17 mile paved trail that is a well kept secret. Anyway we tried it out and I must say...I LOVE IT...you need to sometimes change gears as there is a very slight grade but nothing that I couldn't manage...and I am a weenie when it comes to hills.......and it went forever...we went about 8-10 miles round trip......for me that is a lllllllllooooooooonnnnnnggggggg ride...but I did it and really enjoyed it too :)

Strangers that you meet along the way...well not really but one can think so :) Actually I needed to stop to put on my pant guard so that I didn't get it caught in the gears and took out the camera for a quickie

the scenery along the trail is just beautiful...my husband wanted to sit at this bench and enjoy it and I was out for the ride...we sat for a bit and then continued our ride (ha..I won)

New shoes for me :)

I was reading about these MBT shoes and decided to go and try on a pair...I have some issues walking and wondered if they might help...got me a pair from the store and then took them back cuz I found a discontinued model at Zappos for a lot less than what I paid for the newer models...got them and so far I think I love them :) Seem to be fine with my issues and maybe I can actually walk further now with these shoes :)

yes they are pretty clunky looking but if I can walk then clunk away

Gerber Daisy

Wonder why this is called a Gerber Daisy...is it like a baby? Hard to take care of? When I got this pic the plant was doing fine...now it seems to be having an issue and I took good care of it........hum....there went my green thumb...oh yeah..never had one of those anyway...my black thumb :(

looking good

Bears and Chinese Jumping

Madison had a little program for her last day of school. They did all kinds of skits with shadow puppets and singing and some Chinese jump roping.

Wish this was clearer so you could see her hair really flying as she crossed the jump rope in her routine

getting ready to start

here is my next outfit for the charity bears....had a dress pattern that i vaguely followed but had to make major adjustments to fit this bear and in the process changed the pattern totally

one more shot of the little girl in her sundress

Puppy Play

Got a video of the little ones playing with Pixie today....Pixie has wanted to get in their pen and play so today I let her get in and she had a ball playing with ones more her size :) While I am downloading this all is quiet in the pen so wonder if they all wore themselves out with their playing together.

behinder and behindest

Why do I always get behind now???? Hum...maybe because my life is so full of stuff and I am so busy and never have time to sit down and take a load off???? NOT!!!!!!
I do keep busy but not sure doing what sometimes...anyway...here are the days caught up for pic a day :)

this is my pathetic garden of squashes...zucchini, summer squash and spaghetti squash..need a bit more dirt in my little spot...tomorrows project I guess

got a new sprinkler that travels...LOVE IT...I have been looking at it for years but never wanted to spend the $$ but man is it worth it...don't have to go out and move the sprinkler every hour....this one will have to move the hose maybe twice to get the back yard but that is nothing compared to what i have done in the past

Ok...here is the daisy tree..gotta get more blooms on it to make it look better

Lupine....ah...lovely flowers that grow wild and you don't have to do anything to them...my kind of garden

Life

Why does life sometimes get in the way of remembering to do other things???? Started to post this pic yesterday and never got it up...so here it is today :) maybe the daisy tree will be today's pic of day:)
