New Puppy

Now is this a picture.....a young girl and a puppy :) I went and got my new puppy today and took Madison with me. She was a great babysitter for the drive home with the puppy. The name might be changed but will let you know :)

The Pied Piper of the group...but you notice I have my hand in the treat bag and they were all trying to get something from that....I had some nummy treats and some cut up carrots...amazing what they will do for a few carrot pieces :)

Yep count them...there are 10 dogs that were running around my yard today. It was just a little bit muddy so the dogs were having fun jumping on us :( They are behind the gate because we brought out the puppies and just protected the pups from the sheer volume of adults that were around





Between my friends and me we got some great shots of the pups in this kitty toy playing. I love this thing. I got it on closeout from one of my doggy supply places........was the best 5 bucks I have ever spent :) It crackles and rolls and the pups love it....keeps them entertained for quite a while....and provides some good photo ops too :)

Quick Trip

I just got back from a quick trip to see my son and daughter in law who live in Colorado. We went to the Garden of the Gods which is in Colorado Springs. It is really interesting. Huge red boulders....some just seeming to balance on each other. Included is a picture of one of their pugs...he was sitting in Megan's lap when she was driving. We also went to see Prince Caspian. I love those Chronicle of Narnia books and it is great to see them come to life in the movies.

Sadie's Puppies

Sadie's pups are five weeks old. I got face shots of all of them today so thot I would put them up on my blog. They are really cute...or at least I think so but then again I am prejudiced.

Proud Grandpa

I found this picture when I was scanning my albums of the kids into my computer....it was a great picture of my dad and it showed how much he loved his grandkids. He passed away before my kids really got a chance to know him. Even when the kids were small he loved to hold them and take them for walks around the house. I am so glad that I got this picture of him as it is one of the few that I have of him as he got older with my kids

Mother's Day 2008. I could never have imagined 30+ years ago that I would be sitting at a child of mines house taking pictures of them with their children.....What a blessing both of my girls have turned out to be. I feel sorry for women with just sons...my sons love me but they spend more time at my dil's mother's house than mine.......but I get to spend lots of time with my girls and their children......I am blessed beyond belief :)

Surprise

A bird kept flying out of out of this stand of trees when I would walk by...I tried looking for a nest but couldn't find it until one day I was determined to find the nest that I figured was in that set of trees.......and sure enough....I found the nest with baby birdies in it.
