I was at a yarn store the other day and found bins where everything was a buck in those particular bins....WOW!!!!!!!!!! JACKPOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I got $20 worth of yarn...yep 20 skeins of different yarns....a friend has a new baby niece so she will get this cute little bunny hat :)

Spring is in the air

I saw this pattern and just had to make one...just thot it was the cutest thing...the pattern had embroidered flowers on it but that was overkill on this I think....now to find a cute little head to place this on

WiFi and an iTouch

Cameron and I went on a road trip....he enthusiastically agreed when he found out that I had brought my iTouch with me.....he spent some of the trip playing with the few free games I had downloaded and then he got car sick so he stopped playing and we talked about fusion vs fission...way too deep of a subject for me :)
When we would stop he would try and find some WiFi to connect to and download a bunch of stuff onto my device...things I will never use :) but he thot I might need :)

He finally got some WiFi when we got back to his house so he was happy as a clam :)
Oh...and the trip also included lunch at Taco Bell/Pizza Hut :)

Another new puppy?

This is a new puppy I just got...he has the shortest, cutest legs....and he is tiny....he is in with the big puppies and seems to be able to hold his own...until they totally gang up on him...then you can hear him down the street yelping for all his little lungs are worth.

Sunday's pic

Didn't get Sunday's pic up so here it is in today's postings. I just got a iMac and am in a learning curve of how to use it. Being a staunch PC user since the Commodore 64 came out it is quite a change for me to switch to the Mac...but here I am trying to learn how to really use it...instead of faking it and not being aware of all the different things you can do with it :)

Another one goes home

Another puppy went home today.....I was just finishing bathing and drying her when her new parents came and started loving on her...she is such a cutie.. I could kick myself tho because when these people came they brought friends who had gotten another large cockapoo from Melinda and I didn't get a picture of her...she is GORGEOUS...as this one will be when she grows up

Hank the Cow Dog

I love to read...I would rather read than listen to someone reading something to me...HOWEVER...Noel had gotten these cd's from the library and had me take them home to listen to........I am hooked...it is so much fun to listen to the antics of Hank, the Cow Dog. If you have kids and they love listening to stories you gotta find these at your local library and listen to them...they are enjoyable for adults too as so many of the things I think will be over kids heads....Oh...if you enjoy reading these are a book series too....why had I never heard of them before???? Hank, the cow dog...you rock

Puppy Picture day

Took 8 week puppy pictures today...this one wanted to look outside instead of pose for his picture.....but thot it was a cute pic so it got the pic of the day :)

New Puppy for Lila

A family came to get their new puppy so out came the camera. I thot this lady was just beautiful...both inside and out :) And the pup was cute too...they got the pup that I kept talking myself out of....she was so darn cute....they named her Cookie...maybe cuz she is so sweet?


How come some people have looks, talent and are just plain nice all around?

This is Lila meeting her new puppy...and looks like she is having a heart to heart talk with the pup :) This little girl is almost 5 years old in real age but acts like she is going on 15.....such is the case with a lot of single children...she was a doll :)

The O's have it

Ok..today we get the wood O.....took the picture of the rock first and then thot that I could get a better O if I used a stump as the O for the X/O's for my late Valentines picture :) I know...it is crazy but had to finish it out :)

This really wasn't a good O so glad I saw the stump to get a better O from...........

Saw this tree and wanted to take a picture of it for Valentine's day....but didn't get to it until today....as I was looking for this specific tree combo I saw a bunch of these trees that made other letters too..there were y's and w's and lots of v's.....maybe will get more alphabet pictures another day.....there were no O's so will have to use something else...but I have a thot for that too :)

Needles and pins

Took two of the granddaughters to Michaels today to get needles and hooks and yarn....they decided that they wanted to learn how to knit and crochet and of course it had to be done RIGHT NOW!!!!!!!!!! Emma's picture had to be the pic of the day as it shows how excited she is to get that particular yarn.....couldn't persuade her to any other color or brand....just that one :)

Torrey was much more reserved in her pick...took her a little longer to choose her yarn...but she quickly chose the fact she wanted a crochet hook instead of knitting needles....

Flying things :)

I was driving down the freeway today and saw three of these funny parachute thingies....they had a motor on them and they were just gliding over the freeway. So I was safely (??) driving down the freeway looking thru my camera taking pictures....

Early Valentines Day

We went out for an early Valentines day tonight....we went to see Pink Panther 2 and then out to dinner at Jimmy's for spaghetti and ribs...most of which came home with us....oh..and then a chocolate cake to go :)

Dave decided to make me get in the picture too.....so it wasn't really me that took the picture

Dave and Ginger

Dave wanted to get a picture of him and Ginger. He has really gotten a big kick out of having her around. When he has his weekend off he likes to have Ginger with him while he watches TV. It is going to be hard on him when Ginger goes back to her real parents :)


While he was trying to get a picture with Ginger all the rest of the dogs kept trying to get their lovin in too

Birdies

Thot for my pic of the day I would try and get a pic of thelittle birdies that come and eat bird see by my garage door. I started feeding them when we had the foot of snow here and they come all the time now for their free handout. If I don't get them some seed they come into the garage and look for the bag of seed that I leave in there and help themselves.

More Puppies

I wish I was good at journaling..it is always so hard to put down words that go along with any pictures...some of you are so good at words and have lovely blogs that express wonderful emotions in word pictures......me..........well............what can I say..........I do better on the fly than trying to figure out what to say in these posts
Here are some pictures of the puppies that I got today while I tried to get my picture of the day. I chose the first one because I like the composition of it best :) The pups are 6+ weeks old and love to go outside and play....matter of fact there is a symphony of noise when they want outside and it is either take them outside of listen to them complain for quite a while..guess which one I normally choose :)

For Jeanne

My friend, Jeanne, had posted a doily on her blog that she had crocheted. It was beautiful...I told her I would post a pic of my crochet project that I did way before I was married. Some have asked how long it took? No idea..... just worked on it when I had time... :) The crocheting didn't show up well but taken sideways you can kind of read it :)

Whitey

This is my pic for the day. If I were keeping a puppy from this litter this would be the one. I call her Whitey as that is the color of her identification ribbon....isn't her face just the cutest... however she is going to hit about 30 pounds and much bigger than my other dogs.....darn it all!!

Today I took a friend for her first Zumba lesson...I think she is hooked

This is yesterdays pic...took me a while to put it up cuz I took it with Noel's camera and she hadn't sent it to me until today :) She thinks I should get my own camera...or at least take mine with me everywhere I go :)
