Lunch with Paige
Today was the last day with our Zumba teacher extraordinaire, Paige. She wore her camo outfit for me...it has its own story but I won't go into that. I got this picture of Paige as a student, working as a part of the class instead of the teacher. She was giving the two new Zumba teachers a chance to practice in front of the class while she was besides us :)
Here is a front picture of the camo outfit
For our present we made a scrapbook of the class and my daughter, Noel, put it together for me...I helped a little...very little. And of course, Paige cried when she saw it.
Paige is always smiling...to get this picture was really funny...........so unlike Paige..at least the part that I have seen of Paige....... (I haven't seen her with her kids :)
Ok...so thot I would include this picture of the two of us. I can't begin to say what this lady has done for me. Her inspiration and energy make me WANT to exercise!!!! Which in and of itself is quite a big deal. I love this lady... besides we have a deal that has something to do with bikinis and Hawaii :)

First outing....
I took the puppies outside for their first outing. They had lots of fun being outside and exploring the new surroundings. This first picture is my picture of the day...just thot it was cute :)
Watching the doggie door to see the big ones coming in and out :)
Meeting the other dogs..the pups are 5 weeks old and the black one is 4 months...not a whole lot of size difference :)
So much fun outside...
A quick snack from mom while outside

Small, Medium, Large
I have a friend's dog for a bit while her "parents" are in Hawaii. I get to have the joy of playing with the puppies that came with her. Got this picture of three of the dogs which shows perfectly the difference between small, medium and large cockapoos. So this was my picture of the day :)
Ginger, Lexie and Riley
And as an added bonus here is a picture of Ginger's pups at 4 weeks.

One Frosty Morning
I woke up this morning to a different kind of white. There was this really cool layer of frost not only on the ground but on the flora and fauna in the yard...well got out my camera and started to take some pictures..... so this is my picture of the day :) followed by others I took
These are metal yard art flowers in my yard...love the way the frost was on the tip of the flowers.
Wanted to catch the frost on the plant and got Riley in the mix also :)
Same plant as above at a different angle
This was just cool the way the frost attacked this plant

Sunny Washington
What do Washingtonians do when the sun comes out??? They go and get their cars washed :) I joined the lines of cars that decided today was the day to get some of the wintery sand and dirt off their cars. When I got the picture on my computer I saw that you could see some of the line behind me in the side view mirror...looks like lots of people had the same idea today

Two Amazing Women
Oh..sometimes you get to be a part of something much bigger than yourself.
These two amazing women are my Zumba instructor, Paige, and a student of Zumba, Victoria. Both are people who you can learn a lot from. Paige has a heart of gold and has a love for this lady, Victoria. Victoria has down syndrome but comes faithfully twice a week to dance with Paige. She gives us the day each time and her smile will light the room. What a treasure of be a part of.

Zumba
This is one of my new passions...someone said to find an exercise that you love (HA) and do it...well I thot the HA was always bigger than it was...I exercised cuz I knew I had to...specially when I started Weight Watchers and knew I was going to get my body in a better shape than it was in..........several months I stumbled on Zumba and have been hooked ever since...bought some DVD's so when I couldn't make it to class I could do it in my own home...now to get away from my computer and do it :)

Drywalling and pups
Sometimes you find friends that have talents and aren't afraid to use them :) (That was said for you, Susan) I guess the story is that if you do a friend a favor with a talent you have--then when they have something that they can do and you can't...they come over and help with your issue. Such is the case of some unfinished drywall problems we had. Susan's husband, Lars, is a great finish drywaller....if that is what you call someone who can come and fix a problem that the guy who installed the window couldn't fix. He came over and put some mud around the window frame so that it will be finished without a strip all the way around undone. And he fixed the half-finished repair in the ceiling as well as around the sliding door frame...WHAT A GUY!!! Thanks Lars...have I said that enough yet?
This is Susan, loving on Lucy--she says Lucy is her favorite...maybe because she is a trouble-maker like Susan herself :)
I just love this picture.....I chose it as my pic of the day for the 365 challenge. It looks like they are communicating some sort of trouble between them :)

Autism Concert
Went to an Autism concert at our high school tonight. It was put on by a girl who has a brother with autism. She did a great job with the whole thing. My son in law sang a song he wrote for the concert...it was very touching. The sweet face of my grandson, Aaron, was on the screen. That sweet boy has come a long way...it is sometimes hard to remember where he started and how far he has come. So my pic of the day was this one with Jason singing and Aaron's cute face on the screen
Got this picture before the concert...while we waited for it to start Aaron was sitting on Jason's lap being silly...of all the pics I took he was sitting still in this one so it is in focus
Aaron brought a movie with him tonight...not exactly sure why but more important was he looked at me to take the picture :)
I really wish this photo had been in focus.....I just love his smile :)

I have a friend.....
I have a friend who parks funny so that no one can hit her car. So today I got a picture of her "park" job....oh...as you can see this is a new car...but she parked her old one like this too :)
The lady with the bandana on her head is Paige...the car parker...and a darn great Zumba teacher...who became a student today so Juanita can get some practice as a teacher.

So it starts :)
This is probably be crazy but I can't think of any other way to get my info out to more people that I know. I purchased Mohawk carpet...was supposed to be the best out there...HA!!!! After 2 years it started to fall apart. Mohawk decided that it was defective and we should get some money back...but not all of it. They only gave us back the wholesale amount when they should have given us the retail amount. So my mission is to let people know that if they buy Mohawk carpet and it goes "bad" they will not get all their money from Mohawk and they will have to fight the store they bought it from (who should not be responsible for reimbursing from their profits for a carpet they installed)...so everyone is screwed except Mohawk...so this is definitely a case of buyer beware....

Three Santas
My mother-in-law painted me these Santa's over the years and before they go back into their box till the next Christmas I thot I would get my picture of the day done.
How is that when you commit to doing a picture a day you take more than 30 pictures to choose one???? And then only get a few that are usuable?
I am trying to take my camera off of Auto and shooting my pictures in a manual mode to try and learn how to do this :) Sometimes it is very hard to teach an old dog new tricks..but sometimes it can be done :) Other times???????????????

Puffy Paints
So here is the thing...I have doggies that push their bowls all over place...the rubber that usually should be on the bottom has since gone away and they slip all over the floor...so tried to fix it by putting puffy paint on the bottom of the bowls...while it doesn't fix it totally it does slow it down from scooting all over the floor. Just as a side note...Noel is the one who picked out the florescent pink paint :) The experiment was to dot or not to dot...lines wash off in the dishwasher...but the dots didn't...so time will tell.........

Seconds..well maybe minutes
This is what happens when you leave three puppies while you go out for a second from the room. The skeins of yarn were up on a table high enough that they shouldn't have been able to reach them....my guess is one of them got up on a chair and got them down for all of them to play with...this happened in less than a minute........naughty puppies :)
Dinosaur Bone
Not sure what these bones are from....cow???? But the largeness of them prevents the dogs from carrying them around too much until they get them chewed down a bit more......I love that my dogs can chew on one bone and there are no fights between them........unless one of the puppies is trying to take over too much of the bone and then one of the older ones will say to knock it off.......which usually happens rather fast :) Here the three puppies are chewing on the bone quite contently :)

Stretching
I have such a hard time taking pictures of "inanimate" objects....so going to use some of these 365 pictures to do just "still-life" photos of just things :) Why can some people set things up so well and others of us have the hardest time taking pictures of things that don't move or have a purpose in themselves? I guess you have to have an artists eye to be able to set up an interesting frame of something that really has no purpose for taking a picture :) OK...........STRETCH!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yarn and pups
I was going to just take a picture of my hat and yarn and Lexie got in the way so I thot I would go ahead and take the picture with her. I make hats for the hospital that my husband works at....so got this really cool Jacquard yarn and am excited to make a hat and see how the pattern works up.
Here is the yarn basket with no Lexie :)
