My Goal in Life

Wow can't believe it has been almost a week since I posted.....yikes..maybe I have been a little bit busy.......we are finally done with the remodel inside so not it is putting everything back in some kind of order ...well I guess first off would be for find everything that I put somewhere else and put it back where I know it should be....changing styles sorta...love the country look but am going for a more eclectic look :) Been having fun perusing the local shop for fun things to put in the house...today my husband hung a window in our living room.....from the ceiling :)

Anyway back to this post......I took up the challenge from Jessica's mb that Liv gave out...it was to do a grid..going back to basics......I stayed somewhat within the challenge but changed her grid to a rounded corner frame instead.......All the dogs are mine as puppies.....before I could ruin them with a bad groom job...which I have also been doing lately...grooming that is.......some were desparate.


The only credits are to Liv for the idea :) and pampered pets for the background paper and the footprints

I always have to smile when I see this picture...it looks really washed out in this forum for some reason...we were have family pictures taken for a church directory and we got to laughing so hard that the photographer snapped this picture of us........

Oh my

It has been a long 5 days since my last post...I was doing so well with a load and then wammo...life hit :) We are finally getting the last of the carpet and laminate installed today so now we can put things back where they belong and get on with life...I did take a picture of a lot of the house in the living room but will see if it is scrapworthy later on..need to find the camera and download the pics on it ;) Also tried taking a picture of the lunar eclipse the other night but my camera wouldn't focus on it.........it was beautiful..........caught it as it was going on the other side...cuz the moon was too low to catch the beginning of it :)
Ok girlies....I have finished downloading more and more and more freebies and now need to organize them so I can create :)

Sometimes you just have a series of pictures you have to do something with :) I got these of Emma when we were celebrating Christmas. She had just gotten some lip gloss put on by Auntie Megan that they had made together.....she didn't see me until I snapped the first picture and then I made her stay for a few more :)

Today

Moms and pups are all doing well...the guys did the laminate in the "puppy" room for me so that I could get them all in there. Hopefully I will get new pictures up today :) My stinkin foot decided to go out on me...woke up in pain and then couldn't walk at all!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! After a couple of Advil and Alleve and a quick trip to the doc to find out there was nothing really wrong but got a stronger Alleve pill...I can hobble around a bit...I had better hope I never do anything serious as I am really horrible at crutch walking.............. :)

So while I sat waiting for puppies to be delivered I did this challenge from Jessica Spragues MB. We were to use the I wish quote and do a layout. Have been wanting to scrap these pictures of my girls and this was perfect. They are pretty sweet kids...hey but don't tell them I said that cuz I would have to deny it :)

Can you count to 16?????

What a day it has been...well it actually started last night when I called one of the dogs to come to bed and she wouldn't come. I knew that my other dog was in labor and I wanted to get some extra shut eye before she started having pups...Well found Gracie under the chair..when I tried to pull her out there was a puppy squeaking......Without any signs of labor at all she was having her pups first..she didn't want to be outdone by her "sisters". So an hour and half later she had 7 puppies to her credit without breaking a sweat....wow how come I couldn't deliver one that easy? Meanwhile, Lexie is still panting so we got Gracie and pups settled for the night and because Hattie might be in the first stages of labor also they all slept in my room....I kept an open ear for Lexie just knowing she was going to wait till I finally fell asleep and then get me up...well I dog-napped for the evening and finally got up at 4am to see the first sac coming...took another 2 hours to get that puppy out and several more hours to have the 4 total she had...so once again I settled mom and pups and went to my WW meeting...well guess what I came home to...You got it...Hattie had delivered one pup in the pen with all the other dogs while I was gone the hour.....Well about 5 hours later Hattie finished with her last one so she had 5 pups...so count them ...that is 16 puppies within less than 24 hours....And to make things much more fun...the guys were here to install my laminate floor today with their saws and hammers.....Yikes..can you say CRAZY??!!!!!!!!!!!!

Caught up

I finally am caught up with all my Jessica MB friends blogs...wow what a time of previewing and reading their stories....Spent a lot of this morning before the crack of dawn waiting for puppies..well she surprised me and it is almost noon and still no pups...but they should be here today...so here I sit at my computer and wait for her...hum..sounds like an opportunity to do some scrapping if mom will let me leave her side for a bit more.........

Aaron and Woody

The hit of the party was Woody that his Auntie Noel gave to him....he had fun trying to put the hat on him...and chewing on the guitar.....I got him a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Van but that had been confiscated by the other kids cuz it shot pizza's out of the front....so poor Aaron didn't even get a chance to play with it :)

Aaron's #7 Birthday

Wow I am amazed at the improvements that Aaron is making...sometimes it is hard to see what is changing until you are away from it a bit or he does something that totally stands out. Aaron is non-verbal but he will echo what you tell him to say...well a milestone for him at his party..His mom asked him if he wanted a piece of candy...His response was "Yes Please Candy"...now for no prompts that is major for Aaron.....his mom was surprised too....Way to go Aaron
