Payment for a job well done

Madison was a trooper when her mom went to Colorado for a mini vacation...Maddie was stuck with the job of taking care of Aaron a lot of the time...for those of you who don't know Aaron is autistic and prone to get into trouble :) Maddie did an awesome job of taking care of him so I wanted reward her and take her out....
there were no real plans...I wanted to take her to a movie...which she wasn't interested in seeing so guess there goes those plans...do lunch...and maybe a bit of shopping. Maddie is a girl after her grums heart...she loves making things and working with her hands so we went to Michaels just to look around...and when we walked in the front door they were painting pumpkins....so we got a pumpkin and she proceeded to make her own up cuz the spider or bat weren't creative enough for her :) as you can see by the girl beside her who is following the scheduled program and Madison's is no where close....she would have painted several different colors if that had been an option :) The lady who was doing it did a great job of letting her show her creative self without trying to make her fit into the mold ;)

the finished product...not quite sure what it is but its name is Carl

Then off to Red Robin..........YUMMMMMM.....for lunch. The hardest decision was whether to eat Spaghetti ? (at red robin????) or Chicken Fingers...well Chicken Fingers with mandarin oranges won out.........this is for her uncle who works for RR :)

Then she saw Party City and wanted to go there...so we took a bunch of funny pictures with different masks and hats....

This one was for her mother who thinks she is deathly afraid of snakes :) It was promptly texted to her so that she could see what I told her we were bringing home :)

Then off to the hat aisle
not sure what this one was but she had to try it on

this one reminds me of the Goldie Hawn movie Private Benjamin :)

Pharaoh Pharaoh

Gladiator Maddie...love the looks she makes with each of these....

As I am sitting here posting these pictures I wish I had gotten pics of her playing with the puppies that we did after all this fun....but for now it is just a part of the memory of the day...
Good job Maddie with Aaron!!!!
