Day 31 Load

Ok...here is my last LOAD entry :) So glad to have done it but so glad to be done with it :) This lo was when we took Aaron up to meet some possible service dogs. He touched a couple of dogs but was much more interested in the snow that had fallen and was trackless until his little feet made paths all over the freshly fallen snow :)

Actually missed the shot I wanted..he heard the camera turn on and turned toward me...I wanted it where he was perusing his kingdom with his back to me...Thot it was just too cute....him on top of both planters with his tail hanging down..........There are supposed to be little Irisis growing in that top planted but I think Katie has eaten all the sprouts :)

I scraplifted this template idea from Pattie Knox at Designer Digitals..have been sick so needed something to keep me occupied....then had the idea to turn it and have the writing going down instead.......put in stitching instead of beading and took Jessica's writing from lesson 2 NWR and dragged that into this too..... :) The two papers are Liv's Boy oh Boy and the frame is Katie Pertiet Graphic pop.

Here are 7 things about me that show you some of my 2008 addictions. They are listed in no particular order :)
1. I started Digital Scrapbooking in July, 2007. It has quickly become a very addictive habit and time consuming hobby. I do enjoy it a lot. 2. I love having a latte in the morning. I have my own frother to make whipped milk and then add a flavor or two. Add to a cup with a couple of straws and I am good to go. 3. I bought a tin of Altoids that I thought were Chocolate covered Mint but it was a tin of Chocolate covered Cinnamon mints. The first bite, it was AWFUL...but as I continued to chew on it I decided that I really liked them...now am addictive to them. 4. I love pretty things. I have this collection of angels that all mean something to me. They sit on my mantle and watch over my living room. 5. I am totally addicted to email. I check it regularly and have the automatic check set to every 5 minutes. Love to keep in touch this way with my friends both old and new. 6. Books...I love to read. I go to bed early every night just to be able to read a few chapters before I turn off my light and hit slumberland. 7. I have become a Werther’s convert. They have a sugar free version and when I need a sugar fix I pop one of these into my mouth.

Day 6 Load

I was sitting in church and just knew what today's lo would be about. Had different lyrics picked out but then was listening to the radio and knew these were the ones to put on this page. Wish I had a crown of thorns to put on the cross but no such luck....

LOAD

I guess I should explain what a LOAD is for those of you that don't know :) It is a Lay Out A Day for the month of January. For my lo's I thot I would do a time capsule type book for my grandkids to enjoy years from now....I am trying to take new pictures that show my life and what I am doing in this beginning month of January 2008. so far have been able to do the load and am having fun with it..have a few more ideas and then they stop for a bit...but ...oh ....just had another thot for a lo...hum...maybe day 7?????

Day 5 Load

To match yesterday's lo I did one of all the cockapoos that my grandkids would remember. I had one more that I don't have a decent picture of and that was Muffin that my kids had when they were growing up. As you can see I really like this breed of dogs...duh..maybe that is why I breed them myself????? Couldn't even begin to do a lo of all the pups I have had..way too many to fit on a page nicely........Oh and looking at this lo I forgot Chester who didn't live with me but was my male stud muffin for a bit..Oh well...here's to you Chester.....

Here is my group of dogs at this point :) Couldn't believe they were all looking at me and I got the picture...well I held a toy over my head and they all looked :) Ha there is more than one way to make dogs behave :)

Mother and Daughter

Liv had asked Noel for a picture of the two of us and the only one she could find was from many many many moons ago..so we got a photo shoot going...and got goofy.....she thot I should smile more so on one of the bottom pictures she had licked me and got me laughing...well....needless to say blurry picture but I put it in there anyway...and then the dog got up and licked me again....a fun time was had by all :)
This was supposed to be a Photoshop Friday exercise and I did use the blending parts.... :)

Day 2 Load

Ok...here is day 2 of the Load challenge...after doing this I think I need to do a lo on how I got the name grum...or grummy as Noel likes to call me :) My hardest part of lo is the journaling so this is gonna be more of a challenge for me than to actually make and post a lo a day

This is my first lo for the Big Picture LOAD. This is different from what I posted cuz I changed some things on it :) and like it better now than before. I decided to make a time capsule for my grandkids of things that I like or do or....who knows where this will go :)
