What puppy pads aren't for

People often ask me if they should puppy pad train their new additions...my answer is always NO! Not only cuz you want the puppy learning where you ultimately want it to go but because things happen to them that you really don't want to have to clean up

Hannah asked me to do a couple more videos...so here they are....today was a great day to take them outside a couple of times and let them run off some of the energy. Soon they will be leaving here and going to their new homes.

Sorry for the steadiness of the camera....hum...maybe I need a tripod and a better video camera :) Anyway...enjoy!

Pups

People often ask me if it is hard to see the pups go...and my answer...yes and no....this only gets louder the older they get...they want what they want when they want it and will complain until they get it :) hum....sounds like a human child :)

Lucy's pups at 6 weeks

I took these videos a couple of days ago but just learned how to use IMovies to edit out some of the extra stuff...panning and such :) So here are two videos of the pups playing for your viewing entertainment.
The noise in the background is one puppy who wanted to be picked up and held instead of playing with his siblings...there is also a frog croaking in it :)
Excuse the poor filming and editing but wanted to get something up before it was actually time for people to come and get their puppies. I would have liked to get down further to film instead of taking a top down view but......ya get whatcha pay for sometimes ;)
The first video is just the pups playing together...I am in there sometimes but when I got outside to sit and try and take video all they wanted to do was come and eat me :) I kept the bigger dogs out hoping to get some better play but all they really wanted to do most of the time was nurse from mom....they have been weaned but............



The second video is with Cody in the mix...he wanted so bad to come and play...actually I let Pixie in too but she went into the house instead of playing with the babies....they really love to play with the little ones...but I have to keep an eye on them cuz they get a little rough sometimes in their idea of playing.
Oh I just saw the video and for some reason the quality is HORRIBLE!!!! Sorry about that...hopefully I can somehow get what it really looks like up there instead of the blurry stuff I see.....

Oh my...so far behind :)

ok....I haven't posted anything in so long on here :) I got these movies taken with a new camcorder...which I don't think I am keeping :)....so the noise is really loud and the movement really fast but.........for those of you getting puppies you can at least see your pups playing...hoping to get some more taken where they are a little bit more contained and I am not trying to capture them with the camera all the time......
Love the quality of the pics but the ease of use is not high up there on the scale....and it doesn't work easily on the mac at all!!!! bummer :)
