Day with the g'daughters

what to do with a nine and seven year old when the weather is stinkin hot and no one feels like doing much but staying inside where at this point it is cooler than outside? I have the girls for the day while their dad is working and their mom is playing in florida at cha......(that is why the outfits aren't matching :) It was 10am and they were already bored....so emma decided to make a mask out of some blanket material i cut up for the puppies and had scraps...mask didn't stay on for long so we went on to other things to make

So today was a time for the old brain to kick in and see what could keep the girls occupied for a bit.....i had an aha moment and thot............tent on the play structure...so got torrey to put the blanket up and then armed with some ice water, cups, cherries, book, rugs the girls were up there playing till it got too hot to stay under the tent
