X's no O's

Saw this tree and wanted to take a picture of it for Valentine's day....but didn't get to it until today....as I was looking for this specific tree combo I saw a bunch of these trees that made other letters too..there were y's and w's and lots of v's.....maybe will get more alphabet pictures another day.....there were no O's so will have to use something else...but I have a thot for that too :)

Needles and pins

Took two of the granddaughters to Michaels today to get needles and hooks and yarn....they decided that they wanted to learn how to knit and crochet and of course it had to be done RIGHT NOW!!!!!!!!!! Emma's picture had to be the pic of the day as it shows how excited she is to get that particular yarn.....couldn't persuade her to any other color or brand....just that one :)

Torrey was much more reserved in her pick...took her a little longer to choose her yarn...but she quickly chose the fact she wanted a crochet hook instead of knitting needles....

Flying things :)

I was driving down the freeway today and saw three of these funny parachute thingies....they had a motor on them and they were just gliding over the freeway. So I was safely (??) driving down the freeway looking thru my camera taking pictures....

Early Valentines Day

We went out for an early Valentines day tonight....we went to see Pink Panther 2 and then out to dinner at Jimmy's for spaghetti and ribs...most of which came home with us....oh..and then a chocolate cake to go :)

Dave decided to make me get in the picture too.....so it wasn't really me that took the picture

Dave and Ginger

Dave wanted to get a picture of him and Ginger. He has really gotten a big kick out of having her around. When he has his weekend off he likes to have Ginger with him while he watches TV. It is going to be hard on him when Ginger goes back to her real parents :)


While he was trying to get a picture with Ginger all the rest of the dogs kept trying to get their lovin in too

Birdies

Thot for my pic of the day I would try and get a pic of thelittle birdies that come and eat bird see by my garage door. I started feeding them when we had the foot of snow here and they come all the time now for their free handout. If I don't get them some seed they come into the garage and look for the bag of seed that I leave in there and help themselves.

Finally four were brave enough to come and eat some seed while I was there taking pictures of them

More Puppies

I wish I was good at journaling..it is always so hard to put down words that go along with any pictures...some of you are so good at words and have lovely blogs that express wonderful emotions in word pictures......me..........well............what can I say..........I do better on the fly than trying to figure out what to say in these posts
Here are some pictures of the puppies that I got today while I tried to get my picture of the day. I chose the first one because I like the composition of it best :) The pups are 6+ weeks old and love to go outside and play....matter of fact there is a symphony of noise when they want outside and it is either take them outside of listen to them complain for quite a while..guess which one I normally choose :)

For Jeanne

My friend, Jeanne, had posted a doily on her blog that she had crocheted. It was beautiful...I told her I would post a pic of my crochet project that I did way before I was married. Some have asked how long it took? No idea..... just worked on it when I had time... :) The crocheting didn't show up well but taken sideways you can kind of read it :)

Whitey

This is my pic for the day. If I were keeping a puppy from this litter this would be the one. I call her Whitey as that is the color of her identification ribbon....isn't her face just the cutest... however she is going to hit about 30 pounds and much bigger than my other dogs.....darn it all!!

Today I took a friend for her first Zumba lesson...I think she is hooked

This is yesterdays pic...took me a while to put it up cuz I took it with Noel's camera and she hadn't sent it to me until today :) She thinks I should get my own camera...or at least take mine with me everywhere I go :)
