Friends Forever??

Joyce came through Seattle on her way back to San Diego from a Alaska cruise with her mom and sister. I went down to the airport and had lunch with them. It was so much fun to catch up...we figured it had been about 7+ years since I had seen Joyce and lots more since I had seen her sister and mom. Catching up was fun. All the old stories of not only us but our husbands too...it was too sad to come to the end of the visit and know that we wouldn't see each other for a bit....but there is email and phone calls to keep up with now :)

Man have we gotten older Joyce :) But so much smarter huh?????



Here is the adopted family...or should I say...I was adopted by them...the only memory of me that Kathryn had was stopping by my house to pick me up for church and the driveway that was really steep :)

Flies

I got this from my girlfriend whose picture is below :) We talked for over 3 hours the other night and she found some old stuff of hers and found this poem that my husband wrote...not sure when he did it but she had the original copy and typed it for me and emailed it....she is into scrapping too and told me I had to do a page about it so here it is...my rendition of the flies poem :)

I put this Layout on Jessica Spragues site..........and then realized that Riley is only 11 weeks old.....so much for making him older than he is :) He was so cute...I was trying to get a good picture of him for my web site and he kept following me every time I would move to get into a different position...then he went a bit away from me and I called him and he came a running...and as luck would have it.....I had my camera with me and took shots as he came toward me full boar........and they just screamed...LAYOUT......so here it is

Riley the Conqueror

Sometimes you just have the camera when you want it :) I was trying to do a photo shoot with Riley and he kept following me so that it was hard to take a picture of him. Got a couple that I will put on my web site but he got a hold of this pot that everyone has chewed on...
At first he had it under his control...

Then it got stuck on his head...

And it wouldn't come off...or at least it wouldn't come off easily...

Then he conquered it......and got it off his face...........

Aren't puppies just the cutest things around????

Friends are friends forever

Every once in a while you come across a friend who you lose contact with and then get back in contact with and it was as if time never passed. This is a picture of my friend Joyce who was the maid of honor at my wedding with yours truly. We talked on the phone yesterday for over 3 1/2 hours......it was so much fun to catch up after a way too long quiet time. I am hoping to see her and her mom and sister when they come thru Seattle to go on a cruise. Maybe then we can get an updated picture of the two of us 35 years later...until then this one will have to suffice

Danica got these pictures of Riley and Pippin...they were really cute together in these pictures...what makes them so funny was that Pippin was being rambunctious and Riley was growling and snapping at him....till Pippin calmed down and they tired out...and there they were resting together

Wow...long time no post

It has been a long time since I last posted....life must be busy for some people :) Life with a puppy is busy in itself...add the other things that you get to do daily and you get not as much time to keep other things up. I am getting ready for another set of puppies in about a month.........I also will have a some from a friend that I will be selling for her in a couple of weeks....life is good :)

Got this picture of the dogs grazing...they are like cattle..they graze in the grass...not sure if it is a specific grass or weed they are eating but they love to graze....

I wish I could wax eloquent like some others on this blogging business.......but no....not me...ok so here it goes...Here is my new puppy Riley Joe. Madison and I went down yesterday to pick him up. He is still quite young but the breeder let me take him early as conflict of schedules and I had a litter that I could put him with to play with and not feel lonely. He is a great shade of dark apricot which will probably lighten as he gets older to just plain apricot. Hopefully he will be a great stud-muffin for me :)
